Chakras are tested for imbalances while guided through a restorative yoga practice. During the supported restorative postures you will receive a reiki treatment through gentle touch. Throughout the workshop you will receive the full benefits of reiki as both an individual and as a group.
What's Reiki? Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese energy healing technique in which a Reiki practitioner uses gentle hand placements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy (what's known in Reiki as “life force energy” and known in yoga as “prana”) through your body to reduce stress and promote well-being.
While in a deeply supported restorative posture, you’ll be guided through a meditation designed to reduce stress, improve sleep, increase energy, imagination and creativity and improve focus and memory. Upon completion of the workshop all your chakras will be balanced, leaving you deeply relaxed and restored. You will leave with a chakra chart noting what was observed at the beginning of practice and have an opportunity for questions and follow up on the meaning.
Marisa Pisani Wilcox and Liz Lahm, Certified Restorative Yoga Teachers with Level 2 Reiki Attunement will guide your journey. Liz is also a 200hr certified Instinctive Meditation Teacher.
Bring your yoga mat and an eye pillow or mask if desired. Dress in comfortable layers for maximum comfort. No yoga experience required.
